It is so easy to get our minds on the things of the world and leading through our strength. God is so good and he cares about us and all the things that he is leading us to and through. Often God requires us to do things that seemingly doesn't make sense in the natural, but we have to remind ourselves that just as God is a spirit so are we. God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. As Colette has implied we must learn to follow God's plan through his spiritual leading. Even when we make mistakes, which we all do, unless we are Jesus himself, then we must rise up in him and let him carry us and we follow him not doing or striving and asking God to bless. That is my prayer for my life everyday: Lord, your will and purpose for my life, nothing more, nothing less and nothing else. Even if I don't agree or my emotions don't feel it, Lord I just believe you are God. God is so good all the time even when we don't think things are moving the way they should. I am so glad that God's ways are not our ways and that God's thought are not our thoughts, that is, until we allow his ways and thoughts become ours since now we have the Holy Spirit (God) living on the inside of us. He wants to direct every area of our lives. There is nothing too small or too large for him. God is bringing a new order of things in our lives as we yield to him. Let us keep the flame burning and hold up the light that the world might not only see but experience his glory. Let us be carriers of HIS glory so that when people come into our presence they experience the life of Christ himself. God is so good! d.Yvonne | ||
